Dropbox capture videos don't play

Following up on this. Thank you so much for your patience.
We were able to fix the issue on Dropbox Capture, preventing you from saving screen recordings. It would be fantastic if you could give it a try and let us know if it works for you. Here is how to get started:
- The latest version of Capture is v72. You can know which version you have installed by opening the app then heading into the Preferences inside the menu on the top right
- In case you don't have the last version, you can install it from https://www.dropbox.com/capture/download

Hi Hannah,
SS attached. Even when I go directly to the folder where the video is stored, I cannot play the video using 3rd party software such as VLC player.

4 years agoHi maxjax800, in the screenshot, there doesn't appear to be a file extension, like mp4. Is there one on the original file?
Since the file is also 0 seconds in total, it's possible that the video was corrupt or filed to save.

Hey Max,
Youcef from the Capture team. I'm so sorry about the issue you are having with the app. We have a bug right now on some Windows computers where the video is not properly saved. It should be fixed in the next couple of days. I will let you know once it's the case.Thank you so much!

I tried again tonight and was able to successfully capture a video. This feature is really cool -- especially the screen capture with the capture of my webcam too. Awesome! Ty!
