Hi there,
I am trying to install the dropbox app on my Mac, but whilst the .dmg file is downloaded, when I double-click on it it wouldn't launch.

Could you try a new OS profile and let me know if you're able to install our desktop app there then MarjoLacherez?

Hello Walter
Thank you very much, I went on a different profile and it helped to have a clear desktop đ
The dropbox installer didn't launch by itself, but I noticed it appeared as a disk on my desktop. And that was it !
I have access to my and my team's documents, like I used to !
Thank you very much for your help đ

Had the same issue with the DropboxInstaller.dmg file. It downloaded, but didn't launch when I tried opening it.
Then figured out it was recognised as a disk image and visible in my locations in finder. Works fine now! - chsweb4 years agoExplorer | Level 3I was having the same problem. After double clicking the installer I expected the usual application icon and application folder to appear, where I can drag the icon to the folder to install it.
That is not what happened however, the dropbox installer appears on the desktop as a disk image but the installation process required me to double click the disk image icon to start the installation.
