Dropbox iOS widget buttons open the app itself instead of the associated function

I have the iOS widget set up with different buttons for scan, upload file/photo, and record. But when I tap on any of them, all they do is open the dropbox app. They used to take me directly to their...

Based on everything you described, it sounds like this issue might be stemming from Apple's side and not directly from us, but let's look into this.

When you open our app, are you able to use the associated functions without an issue? 

Does that only happen with any Dropbox-related widgets? I'd also suggest that you reach out to Apple, and ask them about this issue too, in order to check if they have some more insight.
