Dropbox iOS widget buttons open the app itself instead of the associated function
I have the iOS widget set up with different buttons for scan, upload file/photo, and record. But when I tap on any of them, all they do is open the dropbox app. They used to take me directly to their associated function. I have tried adding/removing the widget, reinstalling the app, and restarting my phone. Any ideas what to do? iPhone 16 iOS version 18.3.2 App version 420.2.2 Dropbox Basic
Dropbox generating excessive cache files
I have an issue with Dropbox 166.4.2920 on macOS 12.0.1 Dropbox keeps generating utterly excessive cache files, 114GB currently on a folder that has 3.3GB of actual contents. How can I force Dropbox to clear its cache in a reasonable timeframe and not keep accumulating this?
System tray window on the new version of the desktop app is locked to bottom right side of desktop
As often the case nowadays, an upgrade behaves like a downgrade. I see many of you had that problem where the latest update wouldn't accept your existing Dropbox folder and had to make a new one elsewhere. The other problem (this is Windows) is that calling up the prog it insists on locking to the right side of my desktop. Normally a program gives you options for this either in preferences or in the basic corner of the window, but of course not with Dropbox. So does anyone here know how I can get this app undocked from the edge and float where I can best use it on my screen? Even if it's a file tweak somewhere. Something. Thanks
How to expand left sidebar width on the website?
How can I expand the left sidebar width. I have many levels of files and I can not see the names of folders that I want to move files into. As you can see below, all I can see is the first letter of the folder "A" and there are several of them. I want to be able to expand the left sidebar so I can see the names of those folders and not just the first letter. I was able to do it before, but not now for some reason. Thanks!
File preview and right-click menu options gone on macOS Sonoma
The operations manager disabled linking personal and business drop boxes on the same computer and now I’ve lost offline file previews and right click menus. Can some help me get them back? Every file preview just shows “zero bytes” and no preview. (Mac OS Sonoma)
Dropbox app is stuck on "starting" endlessly.
Hello, since Weeks i have the same Problem on my Windows Desktop App. Dropbox ist starting after reboot but it loads endlessly.... nothing happend I tried... Deaktivate Antivirus completley Reboot several Times Reinstall the App 6 times.. Remove all devices in Account but nothing changed... i always have the same bug maybee you have a solution for me... Best Regards!
