Annoying pop-ups when I open my desktop app. Can I turn them off?
I have a similar problem to the one others have raised about this annoying pop up wwhen I open dropbox, only mine says Search Dropbox followed by upgrade, there is no arrow as has been suggested and it's blooming annoying, unhelpful, unwanted and un needed. Unlink Dropbox app version 2.3.5.10 from Android handset
Hello, I have an old android handset - HTC- One with Dropbox app version 2.3.5.10. I am unable to unlink device from Dropbox. A message occurs Error: ' you must be online to unlink. Check your connection or try again'. However, I am connected to WiFi. I can access the website on my other devices laptop and mobile, but the old handset is not listed on the basic Dropbox account I have. Appreciate if you can advise please. Thanks
When sharing a link to a parent folder, does a subfolder inherit the permissions of the parent?
Hi, With a dropbox basic account, does a subfolder inherit the permissions of the parent folder? Suppose I make a folder (Folder A) that anyone can view with a link, but within it (Folder B), I change the permission to "only people invited," will Folder B still inherit Folder A's permissions even if I changed the permissions of Folder B? just created my Dropbox Basic account for the first time, and Iām having a little trouble. I uploaded a few files, but I canāt seem to sync them across my devices. Iām using the desktop app on Windows and also the mobile app on Android. The files appear on my desktop, but theyāre not showing up on my phone. Has anyone else faced this with a new Dropbox Basic account? What steps should I take to make sure everything syncs properly? Thanks in advance for your help!

Old Dropbox folders displayed in Windows File Explorer. How to remove them?
I have several DropBox folders on my desktop computer - Dropbox, Dropbox (Old), Dropbox (Old (1)), Dropbox (Old (2)). I don't know how this happened. I tried deleting some but lost my desktop icons and had to resore them all back to square one! With all these duplicate folders I don't know where my files are being copied to. How can I rationalise my DropBox setup, please?
