I'm trying to cancel a Plus plan, but all I see is a Dropbox Basic account.
I am helping my mom with cancelling a number of recurring subscriptions and the most difficult one has been this drop box account. I keep cycling through how to cancel a dropbox account trial/account but nothing is working. There is no billing history in the account and the subscriptions page says she is on dropbox basic online. she is charged via card and gets an annual email with the last email saying: "our subscription will renew on August 24, 2025, and youâll be charged $130.01 on that date and again each year, until you cancel. If youâd like to cancel your subscription, access your account settings You may also contact support at any time." but when I click the apps it send me on a goose chase. HOW CAN I CANCEL? Dropbox Plan Dropbox Plus account Payment Method Card How did you upgrade? I believe she did directly through the Dropbox website Question or Issue I want to cancel immediately. My local files won't open. I can see them in the Dropbox folder, but can't preview them.
Unable to access my files on DropBox! Have had a DB account shared between a work laptop + my personal laptop (both Win 11 + fairly new) for quite some time. Recently retired-Work laptop went away. Can't seem to access much of anything on my personal laptop now. When I go to click on pictures or documents, I get the following: Hmmm⊠can't reach this page It looks like the webpage at file:///C:/Users/pgand/Downloads/Dropbox/Documents/MetLifeCritIllPol.pdf might be having issues, or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. ERR_FAILED I really hope I haven't lost everything I ever copied here. I attached a SNIP from File Explorer-they all LOOK PERFECT yet I can't ACCESS ANYTHING. Please help if you can thanks ! If so, kind of deceptive of DropBox as all the copies went well ! Please help if you can thanks !
How can I delete my files from a computer remotely?
Device (Win11 Desktop PC) Question or Issue I was recently removed from the office forcefully, still logged in dropbox with my personal dropbox account at office PC, how do I delete the files on the office hard drive remotely using dropbox? They haven't notice it yet and I want to delete all my hard work converting hard copy data into digital.
Deleted all files, but Dropbox says I have no space.
I have a Basic Dropbox account. My account got full, so I emptied everything from it. But now, I cannot add new files or shared files to my account. Dropbox, instead, sends me prompts to upgrade the account. Backups is at 0. Where else could files be hiding?

I am currently using 2.5 gb. But I am repeatedly getting error messages saying I've exceeded my allowance and my files are no longer syncing. As I'm on Basic, there doesn't seem to be any way for me to contact Support to resolve this issue. Any suggestions?Error: "Couldn't complete share" - how can I resolve this?
Hi! I have this error with my Dropbox when I was testing the file sharing feature after trying to revive my Dropbox after a while. I'm on the free plan at the moment. Earlier, I had a notice saying. Weâve suspended your sharing activity because of a violation of Dropboxâs Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, and Terms of Service or Services Agreement. I'm not sure where it went wrong but I was only trying to test the sharing feature. I would like assistance into this matter please. Thank you.
My shortcut files in my Dropbox folder on Windows have stopped working
Dropbox Plan Basic Device Acer Laptop Operating System/Browser (if using the web) Windows 11 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) Files kept in Dropbox folder on each PC laptop Question or Issue Most of the file shortcuts on one of my laptops have stopped working. They have no associated icon, and when double-clicked, the destination file is not opened. When I right-click on the Dropbox app icon at the bottom of the screen, above the Dropbox item, there was an item consisting of a mysterious series of symbol characters (see screen captures below). I have unpinned it from the list, but the problem still persists. I can open the shortcuts, however, via the Dropbox App. Thank you for your help. Greg
