As described at English | The Dropbox Community except now these notifications are coming up every couple of minutes after I dismiss them. This is insane and unworkable. I have 500MB free; thatâs more than plenty. Iâm nowhere near running out of space. Somethingâs got to change.37Views0likes4CommentsTell Us How You Use Dropbox

Application Affected (Dropbox Basic) Device Asus Z170-PRO custom build w/ Intel i7-6700K Operating System/Browser (if using the web) Windows 10 Dropbox App Version (if using the app) (242.4.5815) Question or Issue I open Windows Explorer and navigate to the Dropbox folder. When I double-click on a folder in the right panel of Explorer it hangs for 30 seconds. Then the contents are displayed. If I open the folder by using the left navigation bar Explorer does not hang. When I Quit the Dropbox app from the task bar, the hang still occurs. The Dropbox folder is the only one where this hang occurs. Note: I have two Windows user accounts with two separate Dropbox accounts.Solved72Views0likes4CommentsUnlink Dropbox app version 2.3.5.10 from Android handset

Hi, With a dropbox basic account, does a subfolder inherit the permissions of the parent folder? Suppose I make a folder (Folder A) that anyone can view with a link, but within it (Folder B), I change the permission to "only people invited," will Folder B still inherit Folder A's permissions even if I changed the permissions of Folder B? So can anyone with the link of Folder A see the contents inside Folder B? Thank you so much in advance! I have several DropBox folders on my desktop computer - Dropbox, Dropbox (Old), Dropbox (Old (1)), Dropbox (Old (2)). I don't know how this happened. I tried deleting some but lost my desktop icons and had to resore them all back to square one! With all these duplicate folders I don't know where my files are being copied to. How can I rationalise my DropBox setup, please?220Views0likes8Comments
