Why do I need more space to access a shared folder?
Why do I have to purchase more space if I receive a link from another user and i have no more space in my account?

Because shared folders use up the quota of everybody in it.
If you dont need write access you can ask for a shared link instead which gives you read-only access via the web. Or, ask the to reduce the size of the folder.
