Dropbox desktop app will not stay installed on laptop on Windows 11

Dropbox app is not available after restart despite numerous re-installs, advanced reinstall, disabling firewall.

App is only functional when opening and signing into dropbox website, select INSTALL DESKTOP APP and install app.  OPEN DROPBOX UPON STARTUP is selected.  I have also tried toggling the switch off and restarting, toggling on and restarting and repeat install process.

Every time the computer is restarted, the app disappears.

    Hi jason_aubrey, thanks for posting today.

    Is this a personal computer, or a company-managed device?

    Do you have any proxy, VPN, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?
    This will help me to assist further!

    Personal computer

    No proxy or VPN

    Router/ISP settings are not restrictive and the desktop is running on the same network

    Running Windows defender but have white listed Dropbox.  Attempted to completely turn off with no resolution of problem
