Dropbox keeps asking for permission to make changes to my hard drive.

Every time I change something in Dropbox, I get a security message indicating it needs my permission to let Dropbox make changes to my hard drive. HELP -- driving me crazy!

No worries, Der78! I’m glad to hear this is no longer an issue.

I’ll be here, in case you need something else.

Sorry I took so long to respond. It quit giving me that message. While it was doing it, though, it was a real hassle! It occurred pretty soon after a Windows update.

Hey Der78, thanks for your post.

Can you send me a full screenshot of the message you keep getting? I’d like to have a visual and check this further.

Let me know when you’re ready.
