Dropbox keeps asking me to relink the app after moving the local folder to another location.
I have a ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS desktop. It has a SSD on which OS is installed and a HD for other non-OS things. By default Dropbox store local data in Home dir of ubuntu. I was running out of storage, so i moved it to my HD (using Move option in preferences). It worked well, but as soon as I restart my system, Dropbox always notify me of directory has change (which i did intentioanlly) and ask me exit or relink which ultimately set everything back to Home fodler.

Hi archcount! Can you give me a few more details on the drive you’ve moved your Dropbox folder to? Is it internal or external?
I’d also like a screenshot of any messages that you keep receiving on your end.

Hi Nancy
It is an internal SATA 3.5" drive.
Mounted From: /dev/sda1
Mounted On: /media/{username}/files - Jay1 month ago

Hi archcount, is the external drive detected immediately when loading into Ubuntu, or is it mounted later by the system?

Hi Jay,
the drive is mounted by Ubuntu. I will change and mount myself and see if it helps.
