Dropbox removing external disk support for Mac users
In case anyone's unaware... if you're a Mac user storing your Dropbox on an external drive, you'll shortly lose that ability.

- 2 years agoHi Everybody,We’re excited to share that external drive support for Dropbox for macOS on File Provider is now available for testing as a beta feature. This is available to some users today and will be available to additional users on a rolling basis. In order to be eligible to test this feature, please follow the instructions in this Help Center article.Keep in mind that participation in beta programs is subject to the certain terms and conditions. There are certain additional participation requirements:
- This beta is only available to US-based users
- You must be on macOS 15 beta
- You must have an external drive that is APFS formatted and encrypted
Please let me know if you have any further questions!

Hi ArthurPix
When I want your advice, I will be sure to ask you directly for it. In the meantime, I will feel free to come in whenever and wherever I like.
However, since we both seem to be handing out free advice, let me suggest that This problem that we both seem to now be talking about, which is great, is symptomatic of the bigger problem. They are acting irresponsibly. If they were not, things would be much better. I think we could both agree to that.
So I will feel free to take my own advice and not offer more advice to you. Hopefully you will do the same and we will get along fine. Otherwise, every time you respond to this, I will too like I said in my post. at least you were warned.
I don’t consider this evangelism as I am not talking about religion. I am talking about a serious problem of drop your box being irresponsible.
Thanks again for continuing the conversation. In one way, I do hope you continue as I would love to continue to bring attention to the masses of the reality of what this company has done.
I was a paying client. For many years. I brought numerous people to this company. In retrospect I feel like I owe them an apology.
Wishing you all the best.

"I would love to continue to bring attention to the masses of the reality of what this company has done.". Evangelism.
By posting here, you are inviting others to respond whether you have specifically asked them to or not. Don't be surprised. Own it.
SJW, it sure seems to me.
