This is frustrating—forcing us to switch to a different environment or window manager and warning us that “you’ll be out of luck” otherwise.
Relying on a UI tray icon instead of system services is poor design.
I’ve been a long-time paying customer, and this effectively forces me to move to a different cloud solution, since I absolutely won’t change my environment setup.
A decision like this will damage your reputation.
