Dropbox symbol has a red square box
Hi there The Dropbox symbol shows a red square and I cant find a description. What does that mean? Dropbox says "alles auf dem neuesten Stand" (ie. all actualized) Thanks, André

It did not change the symbol. But during today the red square has disappeared, no idea why. I didnt even restarted the computer. Well its kind of 'solved' - its description though is missing in the list of symbols.

3 years agoI at present have one of those red squares too. Mothing of note when I open Dropbox on-line. I hoe mine dispperas too. Might have been caused by accidentally going over allowed GB limit today, but corrected that right away.

Thanks for letting us know, anonymous.
What do you see when you hover over the Dropbox icon there? Do you see any error messages?

It had a '2' in the box earlier, but changed to a blank red box. And now again has a '2' in it.
Assumed it must be number of notifications, but don't see any.
