What about, to open a terminal window, after that copy the command line, I posted above as is, next paste it into the terminal window and finally press Enter key? 🧐🙂 Is it working now?

Execute following command in a terminal:
rm -rf ~/.dropbox
Is the application now running normally after sign in? 😉

Thank you for your solution to my issue. I was able to successfully download the Dropbox app to my MacBook Pro and log in.
It worked!!!
