Would you mind providing me with some clarifications on the following?
i tried to open dropbox from the programs below and it offerd me to put the dropbox folder on another location on my computer
Which programs prompted you to move your Dropbox folder?
In any case, though, we need to figure out which Dropbox folder is the one that actually syncs with your account.
If you go to your desktop app preferences and check the "sync" tab, you should see the actual location of your Dropbox folder.
So logically, the second one shouldn't have any sync icons within it, nor will it sync any actions you take.
Check it and let me know what you find.
