Icon missing in Menu Bar Mac Sonama
Hi. The Dropbox logo is missing from the menu bar on MAC Sonama 14.1.2. It does not show when DB is running. I have uninstalled and reinstalled DB but still not there.
When MBP is restarted, the icon shows briefly then dissapears
Any ideas?
Peter
Hi Edouard C., do you have a lot of icons in the menu bar? Newer versions of Mac OS hide icons if it's too full, so could you try quitting some apps from there to see if the Dropbox desktop application appears?

Welcome to the Community, Avondale!
If you relaunch the Dropbox app via your Finder > Applications folder, how long does it usually take before the Dropbox icon disappears again?
Since a basic reinstall didn't seem to help, I'd like you to perform an advanced one instead.
Let me know, if that helps.

I'm running OS 14.2 and after installing Dropbox on a new M2 macbook pro, i had the same problem and doing an Advanced install DB did not fix the issue.

Sorry to see that you're having this issue, Edouard C..
Are you using the Dropbox for macOS on File Provider version of the app with the Dropbox folder in ~/Library/CloudStorage?

Hi Jay,
I delighted to report that your suggestion worked. The DB icon appeared after I removed a couple of other menu bar icons. Thank you.
