Issues with local files showing a cloud icon on Mac OS 26/Dropbox Beta Build 230.3.8686
I am using Macos 26 public beta and Dropbox Beta Build 230.3.8686 on my Imac. My Dropbox storage is on an external SSD.

Hi Walter,
I have attached screenshots of both the appearance of the files in Finder and the window that appears when I click on the Menu Bar icon. I have tried saving images from my local drive to a folder on Dropbox. I appears that the file is saved but the image does not appear in the Dropbox folder. It's like there is no connection between Dropbox and my iMac. I am unable to open any files that appear in the Dropbox folder.

I am. I realized that I had set up a Test account to confirm the use of external drives. I just deleted that account. I should have only one remaining account, pointed to [Removed as per Community Guidelines]
