If you switch the files from online-only, to available offline, are you able to see the correct file sizes?

Hannah yes, after syncing them. But I'm asking not about the FILES, but about THE FOLDERS size.

Hi Nick_S, thanks for the info, I'd recommend contacting the support team regarding this matter for them to investigate it further on their end.

Hi, Nick!
Any progress on this that you care to share? I am not experiencing this issue on my machine, running Monterey 12.1, Dropbox version 170.4.5895, but I did see the same thing on my other laptop running Ventura (not on the Dropbox version though). After some digging and contact with the advanced support team at Dropbox I finally was informed that this was "expected behaviour" and it was caused by Apple's changes to the fie management system yada yada. I really fear having to be forced into updating my OS or Dropbox now as this would make Dropbox completely unusable for me and my business. I need to be able to see the file size of folders and files that are set to "online only".

hi, battiman
Support advised simply to make the folders "offline" or to read this article (https://help.dropbox.com/sync/online-only-mac). And nothing about new file management system etc. Cool, isn't? 😆
I really need to see the folders size and without this feature it will affect my work and business too ! 😡

I've contacted to support and maximum which they could provide is...to read this article https://help.dropbox.com/sync/online-only-mac.
Now to see the folders size I simply need to...make them offline. 🤣
