Needless upgrade in September 2024

I am very happy with the current Dropbox and can access my dropbox files on the web, on an ipad, on a desktop computer and on an iphone. Why should i install the “new” backup which will undoubtedly have things in error and will lead to user confusion ??

Backup is just a feature, not a new or separate app. You don't need to use the feature if you don't want to.
