NOT SOLVED: Electron Framework in the Desktop App Leading to macOS Tahoe Slowdowns
The Mac community has been made aware that apps making use of the electron framework leading to significant slowdowns in Mac OS 26 (Tahoe).
A previous posting here noted that Dropbox is one such app. A new version (235.4.5905) claimed to fix the problem, and the thread was marked "SOLVED", so I'm opening a new thread.
Craig Hockenberry wrote a script that searches for apps using Electron framework and it still keys DropBox as an electron-using app. See screenshot of output, below.
I am running Dropbox 235.4.5905 on macOS Tahoe 26.0.1
