Sometimes my Paper document link redirects me to install the mobile app.
I don’t know if anyone cares, but using web access to Paper on my iPhone 16, I get an odd problem. If I click on a link I made to different Paper doc, I sometimes get sent to a page that says: "this doc was shared." And it says: "Get the App.”
I may be making links wrong. The links in question start with a plus sign. I don't know what that means. Here's a picture.
Hi Hannah,
Thanks for asking! I did contact them. I wanted to help, it seems crazy to be telling folks to get the app, when the app is being terminated.
But the support team seemed to think it was no big deal, so, whatever. I guess the issue is resolved. I’m still happy using Paper on my phone via the Web.

Hey johnweidner let's jump right into this!
Would you be able to guide me through the steps that you follow in order to create and then access the link?
Does it happen with all of your Paper documents, or just some of them? Also, when did you first notice this behavior?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Now that I try to carefully record things, the oddity isn't happening!
But there are two ways I've made links. One, I use the Mac "copy Link" command on the name in the upper right corner.
Two, I just select the name, and copy it like it's plain text
The first method gives me a link with a plus in front. The second method gives a link without a plus. Here are two links:

The links with the plus sign are the ones that go to the "get app" page on my iPhone. The older ones still do that, but the Test Docs I just made work OK.
No, just now I tried the new one and it had the same problem!
