Thanks for your prompt reply. No joy, I'm afraid. I've tried this process twice.
App Syncing Status: Tick and "Your file are up to date"
App version: v198.4.7615

Sorry to say that didn't work either.
Here's a screenshot of me running the SUDO commands you sent:
SUDO commandsHere's the reinstalled app doing its indexing:
But still no Sync icons:
Is there anything else I can try please?
I'm inclined to erase the Mac and reinstall the OS.
