The app re-indexes all files after each restart on Mac.
Each time I restart my Mac, Dropbox goes through reindexing of (seemingly) all files in my folder. The Mac's CPU usage goes up and the fan kicks in - it makes the computer slow for at least 15 minute...

Can we actually email you so we can investigate this further?

Sorry for resurrecting this but I just came back and saw this. Can we still investigate further?

Welcome back, Paul C.32; I'm sorry to hear the issue persists.
We can still open a ticket for you and investigate this further, for sure. Before that though, can you please go through all the info in this Help Center article and let me know if there’s a potential cause that’s listed there? This will help us isolate the issue more.
Also, if you can send me a screenshot of the CPU usage you see on your Mac computer, that’ll be brilliant.

I went through the list and didn't see anything that applied to me.
This just happened again on the very latest MacOS (Sequoia 15.3.2).
I see no way to attach screenshots to this reply. I tried dragging the pictures (PNG files) over but I see an error that says "File not allowed".
