koekoe, did you also try out Megan’s suggestion here to perform an advanced reinstall and it didn’t help either?

Help!  This issue occurred for me right after upgrading to Tahoe.  I removed Dropbox and Reinstalled it.  Now all my files are missing both online and on my Mac.  Only the ones that I recently deleted remain in my online file.  Is there any way to recover them?

    Hey EthanThePhoenix!

Do you still miss the little Dropbox icon on your menu bar, next to your WiFi even after trying an advanced reinstall?

If you could send us a few step-by-step screenshots of the behavior you're experiencing that'd be great. Thanks.
