No, I do not see a small icon with my initials/profile picture, and then the option to go to my Preferences? That's why I sent the screen shot - so you could see what I see. So I have no way to do what you suggest (delete/recreate shortcut).

2 years agoAlright, let’s try something else. I’d like you to open your File Explorer instead and press Shift + right click on your Dropbox folder. After that, please click "Send to > Desktop (create shortcut)", and then remove the " - Shortcut" at the end.

Yes, that worked, except it won't allow me to more the shortcut to my taskbar for easy access ( I normally have desktop icons hidden).

So of course it worked this time (drag & drop)!! I tried several times earlier and it said "add to windows explorer?" When I right-clicked on it the option to add it to taskbar wasn't there either. SOOOO...it seems to be working - fingers crossed!!
