What will other users do without Dropbox Passwords?
I've been using the Dropbox Passwords on my computer and phone and not sure what I'm going to do without it! What are other Dropbox users going to do now? I'd welcome any suggestions.

Thanks for your helpful replies, I've decided to use 1Password but I'm upset that I now have to pay for something that I was already paying for and worked very well

Hello,
I've been trying to get a basic question answered through DB support:
Is Dropbox Password an app that is different from my individual account password? The information I'm getting from DB isn't clear. If Passwords is indeed an app (which I don't use), will my account password be affected by this change?
I emailed support, but got a personal email back saying they couldn't help me because of my account type (non-paid). In the time it took to send me that response, the person could have simply answered my question. Unbelievable.
Thanks for any clarity anyone may have.

5 months agoHi Susan S, thanks for your comment here.
First, I wanted to say that we appreciate your feedback and we'll make sure to log it accordingly.
Regarding Dropbox Passwords, I wanted to provide some clarifications and if you have any more questions, feel free to get back to me!
So, Dropbox Passwords is a standalone feature (a mobile app and a browser extension) which you can use to store passwords from other services, apps, credit cards, etc.
It does not affect how you manage your Dropbox login or password; you'll still be able to log in to your account and reset your password as normal.
I hope this helps!
