Zettle Notes won't synchronize

I just got a note from DropBox

"Congratulations, you just earned a new badge on the Dropbox Community!"

So far this new badge is not helping me.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 phone and a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite tablet.  I installed a note taking app called Zettle Notes on both of them.  It does exactly what I want it to do.  I was hoping to be able to use DropBox to synchronize the two devices.  I tried to set up synchronization on them using DropBox.  For 4 days now whenever I open the app on either device, I get a message with a spinning circle that says "Synchronizing... First sync may take some time."  I am unable to use the app.  I also get a message "Synchronization - App Folder Error - com.dropbox.core.v..."  I don't know what that means, but the rest of the app is grayed out and I cannot use it on either device.

If I uninstall the app then reinstall it, I will have lost all the info I have entered.  I have sent a message to the authors of "Zettle Notes" but have not yet received an answer.

Any help / suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I'm okay for Dropbox (or anybody else) to contact me by email about this issue.

That was the correct action for getting support with this. Zettel Notes uses the Dropbox API to connect to your account, but the sync process within the app is programmed by the developer of Zettle Notes; not Dropbox. Only they will be able to help you with this. Dropbox cannot support third-party applications.

Please send me a list of all the characters Dropbox will not accept.  Or, send me a list of all the characters Dropbox will only accept.  Then I will attempt to correct > 300 files I have.

Latin Characters - Does that mean we are allowed to use accent marks and tilde with letters like Spanish é, É, and a tilde like ñ, Ñ?

By reading some of the notes in the community, I believe I'm not the only one having this problem.   Why doesn't someone at Dropbox take the time to sit down and make a list of only the characters that can be used to name folders & files.  That might eliminate some problems.  And make reading that list part of starting an account.  Is the apostrophe allowed like "Fred's file".  That's not listed in the "Don't use the following characters in file or folder names".  Yet, I have seen that some of my files have showed up as

"Fred s File".  Seems like the apostrophe has been replaced with a space?  Or am I missing something.  If I am, please let me know where i've gone wrong.
