Re: Connection with Epson Printer just randomly stopped
We have successfully used Epson Scan to Cloud to Dropbox folders for 2 years with 3 Epson printers. No more. I read and tried all the "fixes" with no long-term success. The best solution for me so far is to create a new folder in Dropbox and a new scan-to-cloud operation in Epson Connect, then set it up on each printer individually. It functions 50% of the time. Upon failure, I got an email from Epson: "Your scan data was received but not transferred to Dropbox."
CAUSE:
An error occurred during communication between Epson Connect and Dropbox.
SOLUTION:
Try your scan again later. If it still fails, contact Dropbox support or Epson.
I contacted both: Epson is a bot with the exact same response. Dropbox started with a bot but then got a real person. The answer: This is from an outside app that we have no control over. NOT SOLVE

Epson seemed to resolve this quite quickly (Brother, however, is a different matter), however Dropbox bot is right. It is not a Dropbox fault, it is an Epson one.
Try updating the software on your devices, the issue is that its out of date and using old API keys.
