Zoom recordings not being uploaded
Hello!
I have connected Zoom to Dropbox, and for a few months it was working great.
Now, only the audio transcript gets copied from Zoom, but not the actual video recordings.
I get the usual message from Dropbox that says " ... recording is taking longer than usual to be copied", but then only the .vtt file gets copied across.
I have checked, and there's plenty of quota.
Recordings are around 200-300 MB.
What can I check / do?

Have you tried unlinking and relinking?
Making sure you've enough quota?

And yes, there's plenty of quota left.

Can you try disconnecting Zoom from your Dropbox account, and then connecting it again? Here are the steps.

Hi naima, are you the person that create/host the meeting in Zoom?
Do you have any screenshots of the message that you see when this happens?
- naima4 years agoExplorer | Level 4Yes, the Zoom account owner is creating the meetings.
I know it was done correctly because it does work *sometimes*.
I cannot find a pattern that explains why it works sometimes and not others.
Not file size, time of day, number of participants, recurring meeting or standalone … it’s just random.
There is no error message. Just the standard email that says, “ … it’s taking longer than usual to copy” from Dropbox.
Really baffling.
I’ve disconnected and reconnected a few times.
Will watch behaviour now for the next couple of days.

Hello,
Observed — same weird glitch. 1-2 meetings get copied across, but the rest:
- folder gets created
- one file only gets copied (the transcript)
I have disconnected / reconnected.
Confirm plenty of space quota left.
Meeting created by account owner, and logged in
What else can I try to fix this please?

Hi naima, do you see the missing recordings saved on the Zoom cloud?
Did you have local recordings enabled for the Zoom meetings?

Yes, I can see them in the cloud.What do you mean “local recordings turned on”?
I recorded these to the cloud, not locally.
3 meetings yesterday. Two got copied, one didn’t.
Really baffled.
