Bought out business partners. How to create an account, using the same email?

Hi!   When our business was created, our partners created a Dropbox account and that is where we share all files (invoices, bills, admin docs, etc.). My husband and I have now bought our business...

    Hi Ashton W 

     

    It isnt possible to create an account with the same email - the one already in use has it and you cannot have two accounts with one email. 

     

    Why dont you just log on to the accounts already created? That way all the files etc. are already there.

If you now own the business does that include emails etc.? If so log on and change the password (and maybe set up 2FA?). 

 

Or, get them to provide the log ons etc. to the account and then log in yourselves and change them 🙂 
You can also unlink any devices they have at www.dropbox.com/account/security.
