Business shared folder access via personal account (App & Web)
Dropbox Plan
Plus
Question:
I have access and use of a 30GB or so shared folder from a (3rd party's) buisness account. Its been linked and is visible from my account.
If I drop down to the basic personal plan, can I still access and transfer those 30GB of files that the 3rd party has linked to me via their Business account?
I don't need desktop sync, just web and app access.

No. You would need enough quota on your account to be able to access those files.

Thank you!
Would there be any difference if the data was in a team folder linked to my account?

No.
Unless you are on a paid for business plan (i.e. the company gives you a licence) you need to have enough quota in your account.

It's a paid business plan with me as a team member. (It was a recent migration from a personal account).
Perhaps a shared folder, (as used previously) was remade instead of creating a team folder.
Thanks for taking the time.

As long as its paid you are fine, drop to free and you arent - note that you cannot drop to free if you are part of the business plan. They need to remove you from the team while making sure they do not delete you.
