Downgrade from Pro to Basic - What Happens to Files?
I'm about to downgrade due to financial constraints, but I have about 594.4 GB being used in my account. If I downgrade to basic, which only has 2GB of storage, what happens to my current files when...

So the terms and conditions DO state that they can remove files to bring you under quota. I'm not, however, aware of that ever happening. What I would say though is you do need to get the files off at some point just in case anything happens and also remember that no changes or updates, at all, will sync to Dropbox while you are over quota - so do not rely upon it as a backup.
