Questions regarding the cancellation of my Dropbox Sign subscription

Dear Support Team

I hope you are well.

I am writing to clarify the implications of cancelling my contract and subscription with HelloSign.

I signed the Terms and Conditions in June 2022, and my billing cycle is every November. The next credit card charge is scheduled for 14 November 2025. While I intend to cancel my contract before June this year in accordance with the notice period, I would appreciate your guidance on the following points:

If I cancel the contract before June, will my access to the system be revoked immediately, even though the subscription has already been paid through November 2025?

Will I continue to have full access to the platform and services until the current subscription period ends in November 2025?

Once the subscription lapses in November 2025, how long (if at all) will I continue to have access to the system—for example, for record-keeping, exporting data, or account closure activities?

Your assistance in clarifying these points will help us plan our transition effectively.

Hey Sheba123, thanks for reaching out to us.

If you cancel your Dropbox Sign subscription before your renewal date, you should be able to keep all the features available to your paid plan, until the renewal date comes.

After your renewal date and the downgrade of the account, you'll only be able to access features available to the free account.

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

Okay just to be clear, I do not have to send a notice to terminate the T&Cs. I can enjoy the service until the subscription expires in November, right?

By telling Dropbox to downgrade you and not renew you have already done this.
