When viewing the signed document, we get an error 404
We create a Purchase Agreement document with 2 signatures. First, our manager signs then the customer. After manager signs he gets a 'Document has been signed' email that has a 'View Document' button. When clicked he receives the ERROR (404) page.
The Signature field isn't suggesting the signerâs name for unauthenticated users
Hi! I am using Dropbox Sign to create a new document for signature. In the document, I place a Signature field and send the request to the signer, John Doe, via email. Previously, when an unauthenticated user opened the document to sign, the Type tab of the Signature field automatically suggested the signerâs name (âJohn Doeâ). This behavior was very convenient and worked consistently before the recent redesign. However, the Signature field now suggests only the full name of the currently loggedâin Dropbox Sign user (or empty). As a result, unauthenticated signers no longer see their assigned name preâfilled in the Signature field. Question: Is it possible to restore the previous behavior where the Signature field automatically suggested the signerâs name for unauthenticated users? Thank you in advance for your help.
Is it possible to allow CC recipients to see documents, without making them singers?
Hi! Does anyone here know if it's possible to allow CC recipients to see the contents of a document without needing to make them an official "signer"? I've looked through the settings and can't seem to figure this out, but it feels like basic functionality so want to ask if I'm missing something obvious. Thank you!
Team folders being treated as personal
I'm part of a business account and need to have access to the organization's folders which are large. When I joined the organization, I think I thought I needed to sign up for a Dropbox account and pay for it, which I did for a few months. Then I was told I don't need to pay, so I downgraded my subscription to basic. Now, I keep getting messages that I'm out of space and can't access new files my organization has added to DropBox. I have tried accessing files through a web browser and downloaded the app and still can't get to the most recent ones. I don't need most files to sync to my computer, so I limited the number of folders that sync, and in fact I don't need any files/folders to synch. I'm afraid to delete my account and start over, because I don't know what that will do to the organization's account. Please help! I am not an adminstrator. Thanks.
The text goes backwards when filling out fields in Dropbox sign (preview mode).
Hi, I can't be the only one with this issue. Here is the bullet point format of the issue: Create a template using a PDF file. Started with the basics like using the "Name" field Used multiple text fields Entered in preview mode to test entering data I then click the name field I want to enter a name (example), David, What actually is happening when i type D, the cursor goes behind the D, so when I type A its now AD and not DA This is mind boggling and ive been googling and cannot to get it figured out. I had my colleague test it ( thinking its my pc or browser ) Nope, it behaves the same. Surely im missing something here?No 'Send for Signature' option on the Dropbox site
When I first started using dropbox sign there was a "send for signature" option from the right click menu in finder. Then that went away and I had to go the dropbox.com. Today I didn't see that option in dropbox.com and had to go directly to hello sign and connect dropbox and import the document. What is up with the constant changes and obfuscation making it progressively harder to access this feature?
HEIC File Format not accepted for uploads to Dropbox Sign
Iâm very aware you donât support HEIC file types and we are VERY surprised you donât as ALL iPhones take pictures with that format now - by default. So, when we send someone a DropBoxSign document that requires them to take a picture of their ID and attach that to the document it rejects their image. Most people donât have capability to change a photo they take on their phone from HEIC to PDF format. Most people donât know how technically. So, my question is WHEN will you be adding the HEIC as a support file type to upload? Your system is outdated by not allowing this new file type to be used and forcing people to use PDF or older non efficient formats like .jpeg. When will you get up to date with your system? We wonât be able to continue to use your system if you donât update it to allow HEIC files as its causing too much stress for our teams when we send out documents that ALL require them to take a picture of their ID using their phone.
Dropbox Sign emails not being sent
And once again! I'm trying to send docs for esign but ONLY the cc emails are sent but NOT to the actual signers! After looking at community forum since that is the ONLY thing available shows that this exact same issue has been a problem for more than 3 years and still they do NOTHING to fix it! HIGH triple digits in price for the plan for our business and THIS is what I have to resort to for community help since Dropbox customer service refuses to make themselves available until NINE in the morning! WHY ARE MY EMAILS NOT GETTING SENT TO MY SIGNERS?! Any Jane or John Does to help answer this since Dropbox needs their beauty sleep? I have a deadline and need to figure out how to get my emails to send properly. boss has looked all over his email account and the address is 100% correct. Cannot believe they charge so much for a service they refuse to fix or make themselves properly available to HELP fix and forcing me to chat with other users instead of a dropbox employee! This is flat-out ridiculous and a total rip off.
