Is it possible to allow CC recipients to see documents, without making them singers?
Hi! Does anyone here know if it's possible to allow CC recipients to see the contents of a document without needing to make them an official "signer"? I've looked through the settings and can't seem to figure this out, but it feels like basic functionality so want to ask if I'm missing something obvious. Thank you!

Hi Megan! Thank you so much for your quick response. Let me clarify my question: is there anyway the CC recipients can see the document before it is fully signed? For instance, if I am sending a document to someone with a publicist that would like to review the document before it is fully signed.

Hi danielzheng!
To clarify, CC recipients in Dropbox Sign do not have access to view the contents of a document before it is fully signed. CC recipients are only sent a signed and fully executed copy of the document via email once all signers have completed the signing process.
If you need something else, please let me know and I will be more than happy to help every step of the way.

Okay, but what if we need multiple executives to view the document as well? In addition to the signer?
I am running into this issue as well and it’s creating a huge inconvenience for us.

Hey danielzheng, welcome to our Community!
Yes, it is possible to allow CC recipients to see the contents of a document without making them official signers.
In Dropbox Sign, you can add up to 5 CC recipients when sending a signature request. These CC recipients will receive a signed and fully executed copy of the document via email once the signer completes the document. They do not need to be assigned as signers to view the document.
Lastly keep in mind that the option to add CC recipients may not be available if HIPAA compliance is enabled or if you are using the self-sign option. You can read more about this here.
