So, if you go to the general tab in your account settings, which email address do you see associated with your account?
Are you able to update the email address there to your real email address?

When i press on 'personal email' is shows my gmail adress, if i press 'edit' this message pops out:
"
For your security, Dropbox requires you to set a password to change your email.
Dropbox will send an email to [removed per the Dropbox Community Guidelines] with further instructions. You may need to check your spam folder or unblock no-reply@dropbox.com."
Why does it ask me to set a password? is it necessary?

Still didnt get a soloution how to get rid of the FAKE email 😕
i dont understand what is going on if the email that shows under 'personal email' is already my Gmail.
but the fake one still making troubls.
this is really frustrating!
such a small mistake shoudnt be that hard to revers.
please help me DELETE completely the FAKE MAIL. i dont want my GMAIL to be hidden.
is that something you can do? or am i stuck with it forever?
i dont know what else to do...

Hey MoranMarcel, did you follow the steps that the website prompted you to follow?
Have you tested it with someone after you followed the steps, to see how it works with sharing folders now?
