Do you mean that you paired your personal Dropbox account with the other team this way?
If yes, you can unlink it with these steps and you should then be able to connect it to your other account (if it's also on a team plan). Your personal account and its files shouldn't be affected by this process and it'll still function as a personal standalone account.
If that’s not the case though and I've misunderstood something, I’d like a few screenshots of what you see now when trying to connect your personal account with the new one you’ve set up. I'd also like a screenshot of what you see on this page.
