A new update of Dropbox was pushed to me today. It added a new set of options related to screenshots. Show quick action after screenshot... I dislike this, I preferred just getting the notification, but at least I can turn this off. When Screenshot is ready... "Copy link to clipboard" or "Copy Picture to clipboard" I typically take a screenshot by pressing print screen, then pasting the screenshot in Discord or my art software, I REQUIRE this functionality to maintain my productivity. but I also like to have the image saved to dropbox as a backup. With "Copy Link to Clipboard", well, it's a link, Art software isn't going to know what to do with that, and discord doesn't inline images from Dropbox very well, so I'd still rather have an image in the clipboard. The 2nd option, "Copy Picture to Clipboard", well, when I try and paste, nothing happens. I want a 3rd option... "Leave Clipboard alone", just, whatever print screen normally does, just let it happen. Just Save the image to my Screenshots folder in Dropbox, and leave it at that, like it used to be. Is that too much to ask? Note: I do pay for Dropbox.67Views0likes8CommentsDropbox is adding a folder to a thumb drive without asking
If I plug a thumb drive or turn on an external drive, Dropbox is adding a folder automatically without asking. In my case it's a document folder. I do not want this added. There must be a setting for this that I'm missing. Any ideas? Thanks windows 11 pro24Views0likes5CommentsI cannot get both my personal and Business accounts to show up in Windows file explorer
Have just purchased two new machines and am being driven nutts by Dropbox. I have a business and a personal account. On my prior machines both appeared in File Explorer. With them linked or unlinked, I can only get one to appear. HAve Dropbox seriously removed this feature? If not, how can I get both to appear?830Views0likes8CommentsDropbox keeps switching to beta while I've already opted out of early releases.

I'm a consultant and I currently work with two clients who use dropbox. I have 2 separate accounts as well as my personal one. I can only link one business account and my personal account to two different folders. Can I link all 3 accounts to separate folders?33Views0likes4CommentsOnline-Only folder setting fails to persist
I just started using Dropbox desktop app, and I am moving about a terabyte of files into online-only storage. I have a folder that I am putting batches of files in as I get them organized, and so that I'm syncing in batches instead of doing it all at once. Here is the issue: The folder that I am placing files in keeps changing from Online-Only to Available Offline. Each time I add a new bunch of files to it, I have to right click and re-select Online-Only. Then it removes the files from my computer and I see the cloud icon instead of the blue checkmark. However the next time I move files into the folder from my hard drive, it changes back, and after the files are synced I have to once again right click and change the folder to Online-Only. I have the default sync state for new files set to Online-only, but I don't know if a "new" file is just one that is new to my Dropbox folders or one that I create within Dropbox. Either way, once I manually set a folder to Online-only, I want it to stay that way, regardless of what files I move into/out of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!16Views0likes1CommentNo option for "make online only" when I right click my files
I have a professional DropBox account and I'm working on a Mac, OS 12.5. I have several files that are sync'd locally that I would like to move off my hard drive and make online only. When I right-click on the folders, however, I'm not getting the option from the drop-down menu to make the files online only. Any suggestions? Thank you!Solved10KViews2likes56CommentsHow can I disconnect my personal Dropbox account from a team to link it with my new account instead?
Hi everyone, I’m having trouble fully disassociating my personal Dropbox account (which I pay for and is under a different email and password) from a former Dropbox Business team account so I may link it to my new Dropbox Lumen account on my PCs. Although I’ve unlinked the account from my PC and am no longer part of the team, Dropbox still identifies my personal account as associated with the former firm team, which is preventing me from linking it to my new Lumen business Dropbox account. I need guidance on how to: Fully remove my personal account from the Flatiron team without affecting my personal files (these were never part of the team). Ensure my personal Dropbox account operates as a standalone account. Any advice or steps to resolve this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Mark30Views0likes2Comments
