Recipients are getting notifications to open a file that's malware. How can we stop this?

Boss's account got hacked and there was a file being sent out to view that was malware.  Changed password on account but recipients are receiving reminders to open the file.  How do I stop this remin...

    Hey barryw20, thanks for posting on our Community today. 

    Just to clarify, has the file in question been deleted from your boss’s Dropbox account already? 

    Are there any unknown devices linked to their Dropbox account, if they visit this page?

    Let me know when you have more info.
