Turn off Dropbox Transfer notifications and emails
Hello, I am sick of the torrent of emails and red badges reminding me that I just created a transfer, someone downloaded the transfer I sent them to download, or the transfer is expiring etc. I want to turn off all of these emails with a toggle in the app. The numerous other posts and requests about this issue (dating back to the late 2010's) have gone unresolved, so I'm adding my voice here. Please prioritize fixing this problem! Or hire me to come and add the code in your backend real quick! Pleeeeease đ
I followed my Camera Uploads folder but I don't get email notifications about it
I use the Camera Uploads feature on an iPhone SE, and then access the photos to list items on eBay, so I delete the photos after theyâre used. I wanted to track how many photos were added and removed if possible, which the Follow feature looks like it should do, except I enabled it on my Camera Uploads folder 2 days ago and have not received any daily updates. I think I have it set correctly, and I receive other emails from Dropbox, so I donât think thatâs where the issue lies. Does that folder maybe not support the Follow feature even though itâs shown as an option?
How to stop "This shared file already synced" pop-up when opening synced files from a shared link
Hey! This is a very recent issue for me, it was fine before Every time I open a Dropbox link to a file that's already synced on my computer, I get this annoying popup saying the file is already synced (screenshot below). Can we please get a "don't show this again" option? It's super annoying when you're opening links all day and I want to view them in the web version instead of the app. Also please let me know if there is already a way to disable this that I was blind to. Thanks! : D
I received a Dropbox survey invitation on the desktop app, that looks suspicious. Is this real?
"Got a few minutes? Get $5. Help us make Dropbox better". The window name is "Sprig electron view" (so it's not even using the standard Windows notification service). Anyway, the only notifications I have enabled are: "files and folders shared with me" new files synced edits to files , so I don't think disabling any of them would help. What is going on? This is on a Family plan.
Can I hide âfile changedâ popups for specific files?
Hi, I have some files (like logs) that I constantly write to from another PC. Every time they update, I get the âfile changedâ popups all the time. Iâd like to hide these notifications for certain files only, but keep them for all other files. Is there a way to exclude specific files from triggering the popups? Thanks.
