Unable to stop Mac Backup 'to manage these settings, sign in on the same computer'...

I have two Macs.... iMac and MacBook. I have dropbox set up on both, and a backup setup on both.   I am able to manage the MacBook backup...on the MacBook. But the iMac backup I get the message 'To...

    I tried everything. Ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the Mac app. Seems to have broken the endless loop of trying to backup and not uploading files. I will steer clear of backups for a while I think
