How can I transfer the ownership of a Basic account?
Hello
We have the Basic Plan, the owner has left and I need to remove them and reassign ownership.
Any advice welcomed!

You get the person to go to www.dropbox.com/account and change the name and email associated with it - the person who had the account initially needs to do this as they own the account (it may send an email to confirm the changes).

Without them doing the above there is no way to change it. If they dont, wont or cant the only alternative you have is to set up a new account.
Dropbox wont change this for you because that account is owned by the person. If a company wants admin rights over things they need to be paying for a Business plan which gives them that privilege.

Thank you Mark
I'm trying to set up a new account this morning, but Dropbox keeps taking me back to the original one!
