How can I transfer the ownership of a Basic account?

Hello   We have the Basic Plan, the owner has left and I need to remove them and reassign ownership. Any advice welcomed!

Hello

 

Thank you for jumping onboard - I need to use the same email to create a new account - so Dropbox takes me straight back to the original account.

Any advice welcomed.

Simply put - you cannot. Unless the people who have control of the email give you access to it OR you can change it yourself at www.dropbox.com/account (which is often not possibly on a Teams account) you cannot do this.
