I accidentally deleted my Dropbox account - can I recover it?
Hello, this is urgent. I accidentally deleted my Dropbox Basic account linked to this email address.
After that, I mistakenly created a new account with the same email. I need to recover my original account and files if it is still within the 30-day recovery period. Please prioritize this request and let me know what steps I need to take with the new account I created.

Its not possible I'm afraid.
Once an account is deleted, it's permanent. There isnt a 30 day recovery window on deleted accounts.
Thats shown by the fact that you have been able to create a new account with the same email.

Hi Dropbox Team,
My Dropbox account got deleted on the 4th of September and I tried logging back in with the email associated with the account and it just made a new one. So every time I log in with the email, it sends me into the new one it made me, not the original email.
Will I be able to get my original Dropbox account back?

If your account was actually deleted, then it won't be possible. Once an account has been deleted, there's no way to recover the account or the files that it contained.
Are you certain the account was deleted? Did you go through the deletion steps yourself? Was this a personal account or were you part of a business team account?
