We understand how a feature like Vault would fit your needs, so thanks for posting this here and for taking the time to share your idea with us.
All private files stored in your Dropbox account, unless explicitly shared, can only be accessed by you. If your account with your credentials is linked to a device that's not accessible solely by you, we'd highly suggest you unlink it with these steps. Please also make sure to check out this article on how to keep your Dropbox account secure.
Other than that, I’ll make sure your input has been passed on to the appropriate team for their awareness.

Please do inform the right department, I really need that extra layer of protection for my files. My other option now is to encrypt a lot of files and decrypt them when needed and this takes ages, dropbox vault had really sped up that process for me
