Link to G2 review not working

Hi. Not sure where the best place to post this was but I received an email from no-reply@em-s.dropbox.com asking me to review Dropbox on G2 for a chance to win a gift card but the link on the email was not working so I had to go to G2 directly. I was worried the link was malicious so wanted to let you know.

    Hi rebnj, thanks for messaging the Community.

     

    It's possible that this is a genuine email, though there is a possibility for the email sender to be spoofed. 

     

    Did you provide any information on the link you clicked?

    I couldn't provide any information because even when I clicked the link, it didn't open my browser. That's why I figured it wasn't spam or phishing because I wasn't even redirected to another page.

    Thanks for the information. I'd recommend ignoring this email in this instance for your own security.

    Will do and can you confirm that email address is a valid Dropbox one?

    The best option is to forward the email entirely to abuse@dropbox.com for the appropriate team to view the email on their end.
