What will happen with my data after my plan ends?
When you end a contract with Dropbox, why is some data still accessible after 2 years? It should have been deleted according to Dropbox statement.

Did you actually delete your account, or did you just cancel your subscription?

Hey Robin17!
If the account was permanently deleted, then its content should have been removed for good. Is it possible that you simply disbanded the team instead of deleting the account?
Is the data available when you visit your account online, or when you check your desktop app?
Are we talking about a shared folder, and shared files or individual content inside your account? Have you tried deleting them, by any chance?

Hey Robin17, I wanted to check if you still need our help here.
If you do, please share with us the info Megan asked for previously.

As mentioned. we did delete our account and was permanently deleted.
That is the reason why I asked the question "why is some data still accessible after 2 years?"
No one (including Dropbox support) is able to give a proper answer.
The "manuals" are very clear as wel as the contract: all data would permanently deleted.
Which is not.....
