Ben I was advised clearly by Dropbox not to move the folder from the Cloud Storage folder to the Favourites Bar (Apple Mac), can you confirm I CAN do this please? Does it move it, or duplicate it? Does it update both folders if it's duplicated?

Please follow support's guidance regarding your folder. The Collections beta and its closure are unrelated to the mac file system.
