What Is “Dash” in This Context?

  • Dropbox Dash — not a crypto. It’s a tool used for “context-aware work” and knowledge management inside Dropbox.
  • Josh Clemm is the VP of Engineering (or in a senior engineering role) at Dropbox, and he writes about how they use context engineering in Dash.
  • In his LinkedIn post, he says:
“How We Use Dash … context is the real …” — meaning they leverage context (past activity, files, and user behavior) to make Dash smarter.

    Hey Delamode255

As Mark already pointed out, this Dash page provides great context about what Dash is. It isn't a cryptocurrency, or related to that industry at all. At its core, Dropbox Dash allows you to take all your content across connected apps (like Notion, Google Drive and Asana to name a few) and search for them in one central hub. It allows you to organise them into groups, share them with others and quickly summarise documents. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out and we'll try to answer your queries as best we can.
