Option to select a specific directory in the team member folder upon joining a shared content.
Whenever we join a shared folder it syncs into the parent directory. If we can sync all such folders into a specific directory that would be wonderful and would keep the parent directory clear enough. It becomes clumsy when everything syncs into the parent directory.
Currently, we need to join it and then move it to the desired folder.

It looks like the title is now set to select a team member folder as the destination. However, what I intended was to dedicate a specific folder in my parent folder where all the folders I join would automatically sync into.
The original title I had entered is as following.
Syncing shared folders into a specific directory when joining.

Design Editing is my alias and Design Editing is the private folder for my account. Other members don't have access to this folder. And these folders that I'm joining, are shared by outsiders not the ones from my team.

Hi Nareshkumar Rajput, thanks for the image.
Just for clarification, is the parent folder a team folder, or a private folder on your account in the Dropbox team?
Is this the name of a user on your team instead?

Hi Nancy,
Here is a screenshot of a folder that I recently joined. After joined, it went straight into the parent folder “Design Editing”.
FYI, I’m a member of a Dropbox Team account managed by our IT admin.

Thanks for posting your suggestion on our forum, Nareshkumar Rajput!
Just to have a clear image of your idea, can you provide a screenshot or two of what you’re currently seeing on your end, after joining a shared folder?
I'd also like you to clarify if you're using a personal account, or if you're part of a Dropbox team instead.
Keep me posted for more updates.
